There’s something wrong with the computer. I cant sign in to msn. Somebody threw my toothbrush away. I cant brush my teeth =((

Anyway, that’s all random stuff. The past few days had been fun. A lot of money was spent but it doesn’t really matter. At least I wont be moaning about how bored I am all the time. Some recap to be done:

Thursday
Prata for breakfast with Tansy at Simpang! I had two kosongs and one egg with a cup of teh tarik. She had 3 kosongs with a cup of teh tarik. We were full and happy and satisfied we walked all the way from Simpang back to Bedok, taking little stops in between if we see a playground and then proceed on to try the not so fun slides. Was stumped when we dint know where to go after that but decided to visit our once favourite haunt, Chinatown. She bought a pair of pants and a red belt and I cannot rmb what whereas I bought a denim skirt and facial wash from one of those cheap convenient stores. We also had tea eggs and bubble tea. I left for tuition.

Friday
Met up with Shuning & bf and Tansy. Target was not met as shopping was not done. Lots of sharing done between us. Particularly Shuning and I. I would say, fair exchange.

Met R after that. One of those rare days when we’re able to meet on a Friday. We took the cable car. I was screaming as I couldn’t see the bottom. I mean, its dark and the sea is dark and deep and all you see is a thin scrawny wire that seems to break any moment. There’s the scenery of course, but its hard to concentrate on the scenery when you’re freaked out like that. I managed better on the return trip.

As usual, spent my weekend with R.

So today’s Monday and I went to MJ in the morning with tansy. We went back to disturb the teachers and check out the sakae on campus which was disappointing. However, they installed four tvs in the canteen showing CNA, Channel 8, Channel 5 and Kids Central. The field is currently undergoing construction as they are going to have synthetic grass. Is MJ rich or what?

Headed over to NUS for Matric after that. Got my student pass and ez link in which I look like a blur and a retard in both. Lots of freebies to take and dang they’re heavy too.

I forgot what happened in between but we saw a number of familiar faces.

Went to Holland V. for dinner and then took the wrong bus home.

Pardon all the broken English and short broken sentences. I’m tired but my hair refuses to dry so I cant sleep.

This is random but I’m trying to read Harry Potter all over again. I just finished the first book. And no The Blue Taxi wasn’t as good as I expected. The Hungry Tide is much better.

PPS: My gums are aching badly. I accidentally banged my toothbrush hard against it the other day while brushing my teeth. There’s an ulcer on it now. Did somebody threw away my toothbrush to punish it? Ok I’m talking crap.

Small

I just came back from dinner and I’m really full right now. The lack of posts these days are marked by the period of boredom in my life. As you see, as I’m not really doing anything, I have nothing to write about, nothing to rave about. I have no school, so nothing to complain about or bitch about or, you know. So when Tansy ask me why I never update my blog, its simply because, I have nothing to blog about. ( At this moment, I’m supposed to say HI to Tansy cus she’s bored as well)

Today is a day when I actually did something other than staying at home or going for tuition. I went to meet Sweedy, and subsequently her friends. We were supposed to meet at AMK. On boarding the bus there, I tapped my wallet ( as usual) and then I hear no ‘beep’ sound. This is unusual. It was then I realized that I forgot to put my ez link card back into my wallet the day before. Flustered, I realized that I have no coins and I decided to change my notes with the passengers. Mind you, I only have ten dollar notes. In the end, this lady gave me money for my bus fare. $1.30. Funnily enough, I wasn’t feeling embarrassed, just really thankful that there’s a good Samaritan on the bus. Sweedy boarded the bus later and I borrowed money from her to return the lady but she refused.

Such a kind soul.

I’m bored! Like finally yes I’m bored. I’ve got books that I cant be bothered to read, shows that I cant be bothered to watch and a whole lot of things that I need to do but I cant be bothered to get started. My mp3 (I haven’t thought of a name for it yet) is spoilt and I just realized that I have to bring it all the way to Toh Guan to get it fixed. Samsung is really horrible for 1) Having their customer service centre for audio products situated so far and 2) not having good quality checks on their products (so whats the point of calling “quality” checks quality checks?) C’mon, I just got my mp3 like less than 3 weeks ago and it’s spoilt! I want to complain!

Its kind of scary that school is starting in less than a month time and I have so many things not settled. So I try to think less of what is going to happen and then freak out when I realize I don’t have much time left to get things started.

I’m going to be busy this week but its still sians all the same. I know that I’m feeling this way cus I haven been proactive enough and all I’ve been doing is to laze in bed but you cant really blame me can you? At least I have a program coming up for the rest of the week! I know that means more money spent but life is like that aint it? As in the money for satisfaction and fun kind of thing.

Ok ignore me, I’m just ranting.

PS: At least I've caught Transformers and I've took the really cool 151 bus and I've also explored Ann Siang Hill and Erskine Road and Holland V. and Chip Bee Gardens and I've been to the Mango Sale and, I cant rmb.

The above are not done in one day of course.

Weird stuffs

I’m going to talk about the weird dreams that I’ve been having lately. The previous night before the last night, dreamt that I was Cinderella or a princess of some sort (don’t shoot me please) and that Snow White is coming on a carriage to kill me. Upon receiving the news, my Prince Charming told me to hide in this Japanese Lady’s house which is located underground. In order to get there, I have to jump off a cliff. That I did and surprisingly, I break no bones. So I was off hiding in the Jap Lady’s who was fierce and demanding. I even have to pass off as one of her disciples to avoid all the trouble, you know. By the way, the Jap Lady in my dreams was starred by Gong Li. Yes, hot beautiful Gong Li. My Prince Charming decided to drop by and see how I was doing and before we could go off for some tea, R called me and woke me up.

So the last night, I had another weird dream. I dreamt that I have become a scholar of some sort and my face was published all over Zaobao. Headlines some more. Being featured with me was Jennifer and Lindy. Oh if I remembered correctly, they published three photos of me and only one of them looks nice.

Goodness. Don’t ask me why I’m having such weird dreams. I have no idea myself. Went over to PrisC’s house yesterday for movie marathon. It was ages since I last met up with her. She got so many new gadgets to play with! Anyway, we caught Charlotte’s Web, Mo Gong ( Battle of the Wits) and Helen, the Baby Fox. All quite nice lar. Just that Helen was kinda slow and I almost fell asleep. Or maybe cus it was the last movie we watched so was kinda tired. Went for tuition after that and was snacking on Pringles all the way. Oppsie.

Met tansy on Monday. As usual, we were doing stupid stuffs. We were making our way to the Courts Megastore and were talking about the new national day song. I mentioned that that the ones I remembered most are like Home and the Stefanie Sun’s “deep in my heart” that one. As I couldn’t rmb the title for the Stef Sun’s one, I sang the “deep in my heart” part out. And guess what. Tansy joined in, quite loudly, complete with actions. Then we realized, on our left, two guys are staring at us with a very shocked face, mouth agape. Wah, throw face can! But their expressions were so funny that we couldn’t stop laughing.

Ok enough about weird stuffs. I haven been reading my story books. And I haven been playing with the PSP.( my GURUMIN!) The computer was down a few days ago so I also haven been playing with my mp3. Hmms… I better start doing some stuff now. Tata!

I’m so happy ok! That woman called me at like 4 plus in the morning to tell me the good news and I was all groggy. But I’m so happy. As I told her on the phone, I couldn’t immerse in her joy cus at 4 plus, I’m barely awake, my mind and brain is not functioning and I cant scream. So when I finally woke up at 10 plus ( morning call from R, yawns), I was grinning.

Then when I met the suaku aunty later in the day, I was totally immersed in her joy=) now I got people to go school with me!!! I got friend!

Well, despite her calling me at 4 plus and waking me up from my slumber, I feel so honoured! Like I’m one of the first to knw the exciting news other than her brother.-big grins

I went shopping with Tansy again yesterday! We spent a bomb again! Woohoo! Congrats on our new found status of "the poor"! Oh wells. I was trying to cheer myself up. But I was really happy about the jacket we bought together. Upon reaching home, I wore my new steal for my bro to see with the hood on and I went, “Look, Cai Yi Ling!” To which he replied, “I rather you say Yang Chen Ling.” He doesn’t understand does he? Yang Chen Ling doesn’t wear hoods! By the way, I’m neither a Cai Yi Ling or Yang Chen Ling fan. I’m just alright with them. Haha.

Oh and we went to cut hair the day before. Its really weird. Auntie has become a kind of messenger somehow. I get updates about my friends that I no longer keep in touch cus we all go to Auntie to cut hair. Its weird how everything has changed and yet falls into place. Hmms.

And my brother is real funny these days. What, with the Gatsby moves and the “setting crabs free” (interested people can call me and ask me about the whole story, I promise you a good laugh), I wonder whats wrong with him sometimes. We started discussing about Shrek3 just now, the part whereby ginger breadman thought that he was going to die and images of his life started flashing across his mind, and the part when Prince (not)Charming had his hair flowing like some advert for Pantene, and we couldn’t stop laughing. That was a really long sentence I know. Pardon me.

I had tuition with my cousin just now. I couldn’t concentrate cus he kept disturbing me while I was checking his homework for him. For example, “What is a jackrabbit? Got this kind of animal meh? I don’t know that deserts got this kind of animal. Oh have you heard of the sandfish? Or is it sandsnail? Oh I know what a tarantula is! It’s a spider! What’s tundra?” He is really chang qi. And he talks a lot. But its fun to tutor him lar. He makes me laugh and he learns very fast. And he’s super bo chup. Oh wells. Sweedy came my house to play after that. We had a good time catching up! I shan’t elaborate about the nitty gritty details but it was quality time spent together. That’s about all.

My brother could not stand being quarantined at home for another week so he went out despite the scorching sun blazing down on his chicken pox-ed skin. He says he needs fresh air. Finally, I’m home alone again=)

Tansy, long and I went to collect our certs yesterday. The school was remarkably quiet. I mean we were expecting more of a hustle and bustle even though it was the holidays as we have a reputation of being a mugger school. Anyway, the mugger thing, I can only say that it was never us. We don’t mug a lot. We only mug when exams are nearing. Maybe the Science people were mugging, I don’t know. Long reminded me yesterday that we were talking on the phone till 4am in the morning before our Econs case study exam. I still can’t believe we did that. And we talked nothing about Econs mind you. It was pure crap. Okay I digressed. The main point is that we went back to school to collect our certs. It’s very pretty!!! I mean the folder and the nice paper used and the details. The grades were horrible and my testimonial was somewhat similar to Tansy. I wonder if it was pure laziness for Chrissy to churn out an “exclusive” one for the each of us or if we are just too similar. Somehow I believe in the former.

So we basically lazed around on the nice sofas in the GO, talking to Maxi and did a bit of catching up. We found out that a lot of teachers seem to be leaving the school. Ok just one or two. Poh poh has already left (maybe she and her husband finally decided that they are going to start a family together) and Mrs Chua! Mrs Chua is rumoured to be leaving the school due to Lai Lai’s tekan-ing. It’s such a pity cus she’s a very nice, cute and motherly teacher. But we kinda agreed that it’s better for her. She deserves better than to be traumatized by students like us. Tansy and I wanted to cut our hair after that but auntie wasn’t opened! As I was complaining about my hunger, we decided that we should go and try the White Tangerine Café at Kovan. Alas! It wasn’t open as well. So, after what seems like eons, I decided that I am now able to step into McDonald’s again! Ok lar, I want to eat the Shaker Fries mah….

Yeah, now that Tansy is no longer working and Long is ending her job soon, there’s more people to play with me! (That is if Long have time to spare us in the first place) I shall start planning my low budget outings again! Or rather, I shall only go on low budget outings=) I must lead a frugal life. I’m poor. Or does anybody want to donate to the “Save the Gecko- ying Fund”? Please do donate generously! I accept food as well!
