I’ve kind of lost track of time. The days just blurred into each other during the holidays. Especially the Xmas period when the parents are at home when they usually aren’t and you think that it is the weekend when it’s actually a weekday. More often than not, I caught myself thinking that it’s already 5 plus in the evening when it’s barely 3. It’s kind of weird really. Cus I wake up pretty late if I have no plans for the day and I spend just 2 hours awake and when it’s 3, I thought it’s 5. Get what I’m saying?
Well anyway, point is, the year is ending before we know it. Ok I don’t know about you, so it should be more like the year is ending before I know it. Seems like 2009 just got by pretty fast. I know I say this every year but really, 2009 is like double the speed of the usual maybe.
And this means we’ll be embracing 2010 soon and I am not looking forward to it at all. Case in point- harsh world, awful rules, unfair game. But even with that, I still do not want to do honours so yes, I will have to deal with the practicalities and the reality of life in 2010. Talk about growing up (Guess mine shld be kind of major, the growing up thing).
I just want to deal with it one step at a time you know. Like finish the sem and then kind of just see how. But that’s not allowed anymore. Okay, no matter what. I’m going to leave growing up till 2010 when sch reopens so that I’ll still have at least a few weeks whereby I can be in self denial. I’m going to enjoy the remaining of 2009, which has been kind of great so far so, till then!

Homework Tragedy
After spending some time helping the cousin make his website for his holiday assignment, we hit upload. There was no "save" button nor "preview" button for his sch portal so both of us were kind of anxious and excited to see how it would turn out.
404. Syntax Error.
Mouths agape. Eyes glued to the screen in disbelief. Then at each other. Before breaking out into laughter. Bitterly, first. Then hysterically.
What luck.

Abrupt
Tell me, how far do you go? Or rather, how far can you go? How far are you allowed to go?
How far do you go till it means that you’ve crossed the line?
It’s like the boundaries are now blurred. They are no longer distinct. You tread between here and there and you don’t know what to do. Just because, there’s no definition for the kind of relationship that exists. The feeling of the familiar, yet distant. And that wasn’t even the kind of definition that I would have opted for. I mean, it does not spell out the feeling exactly. Sometimes, words can only do this much.
Life has no manual, and you know that. That’s what makes it attractive. But that’s what makes it horrific as well. The unexpected, the unknown and the feeling of what lies ahead. But then again, I’m not talking about the future here. I’m digressing already. I’m talking about the present. About of not knowing what to do in a situation because you don’t know where you stand.
Arh, this must be it.
Gotta just stop somewhere. I guess.

I’ve been painfully slow in doing things. It must be due to the short attention span that I’ve developed as I grew older. Hence, I often find myself with things that I wanted to do but never had done them or I’ve started like a little, and then give up.
The books on the floor are read halfway. Each for a different mood. And sometimes, I just read because I want to return the book to the library and get some other books. But as I’ve mentioned, I’m slow so they’re still where they are right now – on the floor by the bed.
It amazes me that I still want to get more books because I have loads to read. More than I can complete by the end of the hols. And these days, I’m either out and about or I’m trying my very best to work on the transcript[the internet is a major distraction]. If not, you can find me hugging my pillow as I watch Dexter.
Dexter is intense. So intense that I actually went to read the synopsis before I actually watched Season 2 for the fear that my heart would jump out of my mouth. But I kind of regretted a little cause the experience is so much better not knowing. The experience of you know, the heart jumping out of the mouth. Some of you may think that I’m exaggerating but well, I’ve grown more timid over the years as well. So, yar.
I realized I’ve written lesser. And it’s not good. Cus I have a bad memory. And I don’t know where certain parts of my life went. I found an old diary [like physical, not virtual] the other day with like, 8 entries? But wow, I dint know I had so much to write then. And I wrote better. Now, my English and Chinese is failing me.
Pretty random but yes these are the stuff that I’ve been up to these days. Had fun out today and played with sparklers. $1.70 is all you need for some good old fun. Hols are ending soon so I guess I better make the most that I can out of the remaining days. This is pretty much it I guess. So yups.
Ps: somebody was playing with laser light at the opposite block and it shone right on my face. Freaked me out like mad. Seriously, what’s wrong with these people?

I just realised, we did quite a lot of things in those years.
Anyway, exams are finally over! No doubt it leaves a really bad aftertaste, point is, it's over. Will worry about the results later cus I have got better things to worry now. For example, the SC marathon which is taking place this sun and I totally did not train for it. Gawd. I'm freaking out alr. Gotta go do some runs tmr so that I can at least last 10 -15 km. This has got to be one of the highlights of yr 2009 man.
Needs to start on thy money making regime. Shall not be lazy and shall work consistently. That being said, I wonder how it will manifest in reality.
going to grab a book from the lib later (hopefully it's still there) and meeting the J-kidd to grab some of her stuffs while I check out watches and some films and do some retail therapy. Yes tht's why I need to work. The government must love me. I'm gg to work in order to shop. Needs to start saving for grad trip too.
Today, is going to be a very good day indeed.
I guess any day after exams will be.
