I’m tired.

It’s so horrible to start this blog entry in such a depressing mood but I’m really shagged. I think I really have bad time management? Its either that or I’m really unhealthy. I’m trying hard not to keep moaning about how tiring it is everyday cus as Tan says, I sound like an old woman. Which I think is very true cus I’m young! I shouldn’t be feeling tired all the time! But oh wells, thats another matter altogether.

Tan’s been so nice to me. I feel that I owe her plenty. I love you Tan!

My two tuition sessions for this week has been postponed to next week. That means, I’ll have four tuition sessions next week! The first session, I was stuck in a jam after school so I was 40 minutes late so obviously, I hafta cancel tuition. The second session, I already reached my aunt’s place. We were well into tuition for like 20 minutes when my aunt called and asked me to postpone tuition cus she wants to bring us out to dinner. And because Ricky was waiting for me, I refused. But my aunt was using my pay to threaten me! Saying that she won’t give me my pay if I don’t join them.

School has been......quite fun. For example, I’m taking theatre studies so the practical is really enjoyable. It’s like playgroup. And I’ve been socialising! I’m so proud of myself=) but the people in uni are really hardworking. I feel really lazy. Actually, there are extremes. But I feel that I really need to revise my stuff cus I really don’t understand what’s going on sometimes. I have to read and re-read and re-read to familiarise with the cheem cheem theories and I haven been re-reading. I haven even been reading!

Got the tickets to go watch JBJ. I have a feeling I won’t be enjoying the play cus I’ll be busy taking notes. Damn, I think I’ll miss all the humour. I’m really excited for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I am so glad that Sher manages to convince me to go catch it. Now there’s something to look forward to other than readings, deadlines, test and quizzes.

chinese tutorial

I woke up at 7.30am. Washed up, dressed, had breakfast and decided to double check the venue for Chinese tut once again. And to my “horror”, I realized that Chinese tut only starts on week 5. Goodness gracious me! I could have slept till one! And to make sure that I’m not the only one whose web browser says that tut starts on week 5, I went to check the forum and lo and behold! There’s no tutorial today!!! I’m so mad at myself right now.

first day

Today’s the first day of lectures. I should say that it’s rather slack for now cus tutorials have yet to be started as balloting only starts this Friday (wish me luck). Also, this week is the first week so the introductory modules have introductory lectures as well and they are shorter then what should have been 2 hours.

Had tuition after that and decided that I should make more frequent trips down this week. The poor chap is having his CA2 next week. He doesn’t seem bothered by it though. I don’t think I bothered when I was Primary 5 as well. No wonder I’m always the “dian di” one.

Went out with R to look for my slipcase on Sunday. Walked Funan and Suntec but I couldn’t find anything that I like. Ok I’m picky I Know but those that they sell are really horrible. I mean, they are all the same! All black! I want something that has a colour. And not the pastel kinds, they get dirty easily. And I want it to be really squishy and cushiony, I don’t want the hard kind. The only one that caught my eye doesn’t come in 13.3. Bahs’

PS: I can’t believe I start school already. Part of me is still in dreamland.

palawan beach games

I went for Palawan Beach Games (orientation) on Wednesday! My face is flushed right now. Its red and it’s about to peel soon. It has been two years since I last when to the beach. So the fairness that I achieved during the two years is gone in just a few hours. But the horrible part was that only my face and arms are tanned, my legs are still fair. No good! And some woman kicked me in the shin during the ‘foosball’ game and there’s a blue black on it now. Freaking painful I tell you. But I had fun lar, cause the venue was at the beach. I miss the beach too much.

Playing games at the beach reminds me of those times when the netballers always go there together. We will meet at 9 am at Harbourfront Control Station but only set off around 11 am because everybody will arrive at different times. While waiting, we will drink milk and eat dried mangoes. Then we will take the coach when everybody arrived and go to Siloso Beach. The abc ball game must be played in the water and it is always a must. Submerging in the water and waiting for the tides to arrive is also a must. The most memorable trip was the one when we swam to the little islands across the beach. There, we scaled the rocky hills and jump into the sea from there. I guess it was memorable because its not a city thing. It is something that you won’t do it every day and also not something that you will be able to do every day.

Anyway, they told us that the beach games will end around 4 but it ended far later than that. We left at 5 plus 6 and the programme was still going on. Was so tired lar. So today, instead of going for War Games in school, I just stayed home and sleep. Something that I have not being doing for a very long time. Oh and, I have yet to check out what my timetable is like (I got all my modules! But they are crap modules). Hopefully I can squeeze everything into a three day week. Something like Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so I can have a super long weekend. That’s my ideal but I don’t think it will happen.

Yeah I’m finally able to get the new laptop working. The anti-virus has been giving me a lot of problems. My computer kept hanging, not responding blah blah. At first I thought I bought a defected good and I was so pissed. But then after uninstalling the anti-virus, everything ran smoothly=) guess I got to d/l another antivirus program. But now with the new lappie, I can call tansy=) It’s so convenient. And I can sign in to msn. The only bad part is my house got no wireless!

Just finished bidding the modules for round two but it’s horrible. First sem is going to be so horrible.

Orientation is on right now and I don’t know what’s happening. Found out that my OG is not very on so it is kind of sian right now. We followed another OG today so yups. Tmr will be with the house so I guess it won’t be that bad. I don’t know what else i can say for orientation.

Fran just asked me how I’m doing right now and I just told her it’s messy. Cause there’s too many things going on right now. Seems like I have a lot to do but somehow, I don’t really know what I’m doing. It just seems as if i have not enough time for everything and its kind of tiring me out. And everyday seems to be so unexpected so i can’t plan my schedule ahead of time and I don’t like it.

I wonder what will happens when lectures start.

Tomorrow’s the first day of school! Ok its going to be O week so no lectures involved but I’m still a little freaked out all the same. If all things go exactly as planned, I’m suppose to wake up at 7am, reach sch by 9am, try to have fun during orientation and leave when they let us off for Inauguration Ceremony. Heck about the ceremony and the night activities. I shall just go purchase the lappie and then leave for home! Tuition laters.

I’m so glad I managed to get all the three modules I’ve bidded for! Save me the trouble of bidding for P modules again. Round 2A opens tmr and bidding for GEM and SS will start. I’m feeling sians.

Hungry. Dinner is not back yet.

Rewind

There’s something wrong with the computer. I cant sign in to msn. Somebody threw my toothbrush away. I cant brush my teeth =((

Anyway, that’s all random stuff. The past few days had been fun. A lot of money was spent but it doesn’t really matter. At least I wont be moaning about how bored I am all the time. Some recap to be done:

Thursday
Prata for breakfast with Tansy at Simpang! I had two kosongs and one egg with a cup of teh tarik. She had 3 kosongs with a cup of teh tarik. We were full and happy and satisfied we walked all the way from Simpang back to Bedok, taking little stops in between if we see a playground and then proceed on to try the not so fun slides. Was stumped when we dint know where to go after that but decided to visit our once favourite haunt, Chinatown. She bought a pair of pants and a red belt and I cannot rmb what whereas I bought a denim skirt and facial wash from one of those cheap convenient stores. We also had tea eggs and bubble tea. I left for tuition.

Friday
Met up with Shuning & bf and Tansy. Target was not met as shopping was not done. Lots of sharing done between us. Particularly Shuning and I. I would say, fair exchange.

Met R after that. One of those rare days when we’re able to meet on a Friday. We took the cable car. I was screaming as I couldn’t see the bottom. I mean, its dark and the sea is dark and deep and all you see is a thin scrawny wire that seems to break any moment. There’s the scenery of course, but its hard to concentrate on the scenery when you’re freaked out like that. I managed better on the return trip.

As usual, spent my weekend with R.

So today’s Monday and I went to MJ in the morning with tansy. We went back to disturb the teachers and check out the sakae on campus which was disappointing. However, they installed four tvs in the canteen showing CNA, Channel 8, Channel 5 and Kids Central. The field is currently undergoing construction as they are going to have synthetic grass. Is MJ rich or what?

Headed over to NUS for Matric after that. Got my student pass and ez link in which I look like a blur and a retard in both. Lots of freebies to take and dang they’re heavy too.

I forgot what happened in between but we saw a number of familiar faces.

Went to Holland V. for dinner and then took the wrong bus home.

Pardon all the broken English and short broken sentences. I’m tired but my hair refuses to dry so I cant sleep.

This is random but I’m trying to read Harry Potter all over again. I just finished the first book. And no The Blue Taxi wasn’t as good as I expected. The Hungry Tide is much better.

PPS: My gums are aching badly. I accidentally banged my toothbrush hard against it the other day while brushing my teeth. There’s an ulcer on it now. Did somebody threw away my toothbrush to punish it? Ok I’m talking crap.
