the first day

I started school today with a weird sense of familiarity. It was kind of distant after such a long break. I was already getting comfortable with my lifestyle. Yet, everything feels the same as before. Even LT 11 smells the way I remember it to be. It was the first thing that caught my attention when I enter the lecture hall. It feels like some kind of dejavu, but its not.

The bus was just as crowded in the morning. When I managed to get a seat, one of those door signs hanging on the railing dropped right smack on my head. I don’t know what causes it to drop but it was so embarrassing. I wonder what the person who was sitting beside me thinking when she saw it happened. Maybe she was chuckling to herself silently. And then I saw someone who was wearing the same shirt as me board the bus. I saw my ‘enemy’ twice in school today. She’s in one of the same lecture as me. Hopefully I don’t get into the same tutorial group as her. (I will just die.) Did I mention? I even recognized the sbs bus uncle when I boarded the bus on the way home.

Lectures today are really not to my liking. It was too blatant and too blunt in the morning and later, it was just plain boring. Maybe it’s just the first lecture. I should give myself and the lecturers more time.

It’s nice to sit by the window at night typing this entry. It’s quiet, breezy and calm. I’m listening to this album by Emi Fujita that was given to me by Sweedy (or maybe Sweedy’s friend). It feels good to just, I don’t know, be alone for a while.

Ricky says that my house in the future will be very Zen because I like the feeling of being at peace. Maybe.

It’s just not right to start school now. I’m not ready for all the hustle and bustle.
